Description
A Coroa Godello is a white wine made from 100% Godello from the Valdeorras denomination of Galicia in north western Spain. This wine is made with grapes from 8 parcels low production and controlled production of A Coroa. The average age of the vineyards, as well as the different altitudes, orientations and heterogeneity of the land, endow the overall result with exclusive mineralization and outstanding complexity. After the grapes are manually harvested in each of the plots in 14Kg boxes and according to maturation, it proceeds to a soft destemming and cold maceration (5ºC). Subsequently, the collection of each vineyard ferments separately in stainless steel vats with controlled temperature. The wine is aged on the fine lees for some added elegance to the mouthfeel and also for complexity in flavor. It features aromas of pear, apple, citrus, and subtle floral qualities while presenting a creamy texture with mineral notes as well. Fresh and balanced on the palate , it pairs beautifuly with seafood, rilled fish, creamy rice dishes, and mediterranean cuisine.
