Description
The vines for this wine are grown on slate slopes in the Valdeorras valley, where temperatures and humidity are temperate. These conditions give the wines a delicate structure, unique personality, and originality. The Godello lías has a bright straw-yellow color with greenish hues and golden reflections. It has an excellent, intense aroma with notes of elderflower and broom, along with a light note of fennel, characteristic of these fine Godello wines. Furthermore, aromas of papaya and mango are present, with a slight oxidation that gives the aroma an excellent and elegant complexity. On the palate, the wine is powerful and ripe, yet soft, with acidity reminiscent of grapefruit. A very long, complex, and minerally finish, typical of the soil where these vineyards are located. The wine is aged on lees for 6 months.
