Description
Caballero Zifar is an elegant and sophisticated wine made from the native Albillo Mayor grape variety, making it one of the 1st white wines produced in the DO Ribera del Duero. Manual Harvesting and sourced from high altitude vineyards, this wine stands out for its freshness and complexity. It presents a pale yellow colour with grey hues and offers aromas of white fruit, jasmine flowers, and hints of peach, highlighting its elegance. With 12 months in French oak barrels the palate is powerful, it has volume, length and freshness, and a long, lingering finish. This is a white wine very well suited for ageing, and ideal for special occasions.
A perfect pairing to fatty fish, pan-seared foie gras, and fowl stews.
