Description
The grapes at Los Lastros are harvested by hand and immediately kept in a cold room at 4°C to preserve their fruit intensity. The harvest undergoes a double selection process: first, to hand-select only the best bunches, and then to reduce the grapes to the highest quality. Before fermentation, a cold maceration is carried out in stainless steel tanks. The resulting wine ages for approximately 10 months in French and American oak barrels.
Appearance: Deep ruby red with a subtle hint of purple.
Nose: Intense aromas of fresh red fruit with a delicate touch of florals. A hint of vanilla, coffee, and licorice influence from the French and American oak.
Palate: Full-bodied wine with well-balanced acidity and perfectly integrated tannins, thanks to 8 months of aging in French and American oak barrels. Medium to long finish.
