Description
This wine presents a straw yellow in the glass, the bouquet is floral, fresh, and fruity, with hints of melon, hawthorn, and citrus. The freshness continues on the palate, revealing a lively and pleasantly savory finish which has good length.
A perfect accompaniment to any meal, but also ideal as an aperitif, it pairs perfectly with trofie al pesto.
The ancient Romans brought the culture of vines and wine to the lands of the Colli Orientali del Friuli, which is why this area of Friuli remains one of Italy’s most renowned winegrowing regions. This is further demonstrated by this Ribolla Gialla, sourced from the Colli Orientali del Friuli and produced by the Torre Rosazza winery. It ferments at a controlled temperature and ages on the lees in stainless steel for four months. It embodies a lovely minerality, which harmonizes with a precise and pleasant varietal interpretation of the fruit. It is a high-quality Ribolla.
