GRAPE VARIETY: Tempranillo.
VINEYARD AGE: Around 60 years old.
SOIL: Calcareous clay. CLIMATE: Mediterranean with Atlantic reflections.
PRODUCTION: Grandfather Isidoro reflects the authentic personality of a winemaker faithful to his land. With his extensive experience in wine aging and traditional winemaking culture, he created Reserva Valdelana. Harvested in the second week of October, alcoholic fermentation for 9 days at 26°C, and post-fermentation maceration with skins for 12 days. Aged in 225-liter French and American oak barrels for 24 months.
VISUAL PHASE: Very deep ruby red. OLFACTORY PHASE: Balsamic notes and aromatic herbs such as lavender, fennel, and rosemary stand out, harmoniously blending with black fruits. TASTE: Full-bodied, with a sweet tannin and balanced acidity that gives it structure and character. Pleasant sensation of fruit and plum bonbon. SERVING TEMPERATURE: Chilled, between 12°C and 18°C. GASTRONOMY: Pairs excellently with a variety of tapas, meats, stews, legumes, typical local dishes, and desserts.
